Helping others "TODAY" is not new for many. The latest economic Crunch has helped nudge a few people. No matter how someone gets to help another 'someone who needs a hand is not important? Helping in anyway you can, is.
I'm proud to be apart of a network of people willing to Help the "American Red Cross",on may 17Th. There is a marathon in Stroudsburg, PA. I'm not running to raise money. I'm helping by taking up a post along the route, freeing up police whom normally can't handle major events like this.So a Amateur radio club in the Pocono's(E.P.A.R.A) needs People with a Amateur Radio Licence to help with making sure runners who are running to raise
lots of money for 'such a important cause', to report if anyone along the route would need medical help,Trip + fall; sprain an ankle;etc..We are there to radio ahead for ambulance or what ever might a rise in these situations. I love helping out,in a-way I can. it really feels good inside.. Citi Cards

I was watching a doc on LINK TV, the fixer. It was about a Palestinian who helped journalists get around Gaza. During the taping of the doc, many of his family was killed by Israeli air strikes. I think that if these tragedies where shown on our regular news shows, israel would be forced to stop killing. It is unbelievable how much is hidden from us.
